ROTC schools

i was wondering if anyone knew any good colleges for ROTC programs. Besides the obvious (USMA. naval, airforce, citadel).

Isnt texas A&M known for it's ROTC department? thanks

the ROTC website has a list of colleges. I'm going to Western Michigan in the fall and am thinking about joining that ROTC since my dad graduated from the ROTC program and university. yes A&M is well known

in my HS only fags and weird people are in the rotc program.

ROTC is for wussies, enlist in the army first, then go through the proper precautions to go into OCS.

don't listen to him, ROTC is good because you can also experience a college atmosphere

An atmosphere of camping in the woods, and using an M-16 once throughout the whole experience. It's like Boy Scouts.

uh well if you are going to college and want to be in the army at the same time it is an ideal way of doing both

Cornell has a great ROTC program. A lot of nice people there too.

From what I know, you're not in the Army at the sametime. ROTC is considered a College Course, you get a College Credit for it.

yeah thats true but it is a jumping board into an army career. and you are right it pales in comparance to the real army training, but it gets you many places.

well, i just want to go into rotc to get commisioned, not for the experience. Also, that is why I ask about ROTC schools. I would hate to go to a school where only like 100 people are enrolled in rotc because i would feel wierd

I see ROTC people all the time around Syracuse, so it seems to me that our program is quite large. I know one person in it, he seems to like it.

Yes, Texas A&M has an excellent program. ROTC is the way to go if you wanna be an officer and get a college degree.

VMI is supposed to be pretty good too.
