ok so i am tryong to find out how people are makeing new models for mohaa
ie: a gas mask and a beret (not the one from spearhead)i have a program now called milkshape 3d and i can now view and edit the skd files
only this is the program only saves as a skb
i would really like to know how to save as a skd and also open and view the .lod files or even create my own
ok the program is something i stumbled across while searching for a way to view some files,it would be a great tool for mappers...
do a search for it in google and it shoule come up milkshape 3d
i think it was on some quake 3 website
and for the skins i found they can be found at http://www.alliedassault.us
hmmm u have stumbled across modelling my friend fun huh?If u wanna be proffessional get 3ds max its expensive though. But you can animate model and some other cool stuff with it.milkshape was made as a half life tool so should be all good with the quake 3 engine. If anyone wants any help with modelling pm me.
HA ok mvn i found it in the sdk for sh
thanks for your help on this!
ome other thing though
how about the .lod file
how do i go about viewing and editing this?
ok so if the skb is all of that where do i come up with all the individual files?
and better yet is there a tout somewhere that i could just read through?
