Default Better Video Cards? - 04-04-2003, 12:06 AM

What are the better video cards...GeForces or Radeons? Alos, quite a few companies make variations of these cards (Such as: Leadtek for Geforces and Sapphire for Radeons) who makes the best card variations do you think?

As of right now, RADEONS 256MB 8X 9800 Pro card outperforms any GeForce based card, even the FX series. So, that's my choice.

Yeah, I just read that about the 9800 in my CGW. Although, they said the NV35 will outperfrom the R350 or something like that. I'll probably get a new one when they have a cheap 256MB one in a year or so, I'll stick with my Gf4 until absolutely necessary.

Radeon had the baddest video card on the planet for quite some time with the 9700pro. Just to compete, Geforce had to overclock their best card so much that they had to mount a vacuum cleaner motor on the fan to keep it cool. Radeon responded a few short months later with the new baddest video card on the planet with the 9800pro.

You can say whatever you like about drivers, if radeon keeps putting out the superior product, gforce is going to be the one with driver problems when all new games get developed on radeon's cards.
