Default Laser Guided Bullets - 04-12-2003, 12:17 PM

Does anyone remember a while ago that there were laser or was it heat seeking bullets being developed?
I cant find anything on the net about them.

They were costing about $1200 EACH so imagine how much money was being burnt by empty a magazine of them.

They were developed to always find their target etc, but i beleive they had to stop making them as they were too inhumane oOo:

Like that laser gun that instantly blinds the enemy....

anyway, post any info on it if anyone can remember.

What the hell would you need that for? If you cant shoot a gun taxpayers shouldnt have to waste 1200 a bullet just so you can actually hit something

Wait, Nevermind. I remember reading about this, but it's only for .50 BMG Sniper Rifles, for over 1 mile shots. But, it's in prototype, and only on Discovery Channel specials. eek:

Or an Army of Iraqi Information Ministers, they'd have 100% Morale all the time. " No, no one has died, we have Jihaded them."

what a waste of money.

while the idiot with the fancy bullets is programming his stupid little computer thingy a sniper with a regular bullet would have about 20 opportunities to take his head off.

the sniper with regular bulet will fire from one mile away and miss while the "idiot" with the special round will fire his round into the regular sniper's head andit will then bounce around inside the regular sniper's body then fly out his ass.

for all the money that one of those bullets cost, the person can just freakin shoot a laser guided bomb and get 2 snipers instad of one. See, there are limits with money, and this is one of them.

there are no limits for imagination though. especially when you know youll get money to play with - like in the military, to try new stuff out.
