Default Talking of blood mods... - 04-14-2003, 12:09 PM

I have to say I've never really been too much into blood fest games with splats on walls and stuff. They must have some effect on frame rate, however marginal. But one mod I would like to see is a blood mod that shows a normal puff of smoke when you get a body hit, and a red puff to signify a head hit. No idea if its possible to do however. It would certainly keep to the game designers original ethos that seeing blood was rare anyway, due to the layers of clothing. Is it possible to do ? Anyone thought about it ?

I don't like Quake III-like blood either. It's too unrealistic.

I use Crizzblood 2.1. I believe it is available on this site. If not, do a search on the net. It's not hard to find.

This is a 'mild' blood mod. Some blood on walls/floors but not a lot. Small body puffs. I think you'll like it.

If you search with google on crizzblood, it's the top link.

Clickclick, typetype, clickclick:

Yep, it's that easy.

it's be cool to make the body hit puff come out the back of the head when there's a head shot.. but that's prolly too hard to do.
