ok i know this may sound a bit "noobish" but how do you fade the flag into the picture like this

eather feather it, or put the other part of the sig over the flag, and erase what u dont want, or feather that one also

Layer mask & gradient. Use a hide all layer mask, then use a white foreground to transparent gradient on the mask. Voila. Looks like a bit of motion blur in that particular case too.

yea, ive tried to get the foreground to be tranaparent, but i cant get it...help
