You mean like this?

I did this in about 15 minutes. Use the clone stamp to get rid of the original text and texturize the cloned layer. Make the new text over that and add texture and lighting effects to it. I used the sandstone texture and noise. The text layer looks good on stroke emboss mode with some shadow. There's a bit too much shadow in this, but I did it quickly. Then i used the airbrush and put in the rust, then added noise and blurred. If you want to know something more specific, ask specifically.

Also, I used Times New Roman for that, but there's probably a slightly better match.

Bah... he's carring an M-16 A1... US army currently uses the A2 model which utilies a 30 round magazine and a differant style handgrip. Among other advancements. Thats the biggest mistake of the whoooole image. biggrin:

Actually, we're even using up to the A4 now in some cases.

Yeah but the A4 is just an RIS version of the A2, its heavier to. The cycle after mine in basicrecieved A4's while mine used A2's. We fired A4's during night trainging because of the RIS and the attachments... they were alright, but the RIS is a bitch to clean.
