Default File saving problem - 04-27-2003, 08:49 AM

Recently my downloads don't ask me what directory I want the file to save to. When I download something, the downlaod immediately starts and saves it to "Temporary Folder" without asking me where I want to save it as. Does anyone know hat happened?

If they are .ZIP files doing this, open up My Computer>C: then goto Tools>Options or View>Folder Options (Whichever)

Choose the File Types tab, and goto the file's extension. Click on the extension once, and choose Advanced. There's a box in there saying something like "Ask before I download" or "Confirm before Download". Check or un-check it.
