Metallica Songs -
05-05-2003, 08:20 PM
I've grown up to msotly listenig to oldies on my parents radio etc...and when I got older to listen to music...I geneally hated them...basically because their stuff at that wasn't all that good
I hear about people talking about how good their old stuff was
so can you guys tell me some of the good older Metallica songs...or even if their is any ever remotly good newer ones.

Whiskey in the Jar is a cover, actually.
For what Metallica is really about, get:
- Master of Puppets
- Creeping Death
- The Four Horsemen
- For Whom the Bell Tolls
- Battery
- Blackened
- ...And Justice For All
- Damage Inc.
- Seek & Destroy
- The Shortest Straw
Compare that to "Ain't My Bitch" or "Mama Said", and you'll see why the newer stuff was mostly rejected by the old-school 'tallica fans.

Ill start with Kill em all and work towards now the black album
Seek and Destroy
Hit the Lights
the Four horsemen
For Whom the bell tolls
Fade to black
Ride the lightning
Creeping death
Battery
Master of Puppets
Leper Messiah
Damage Inc
Orion (instrumental)
...And Justice for all
Dyers Eve
To live is to die (instrumental that rocks the pants off me)
Harvestor of Sarrow
Enter Sandman
Blackened
Stay away from Load, Reload and about half the black album
anything off of symphony of metal is probably good stuff
