Default Doom III - 05-13-2003, 07:08 PM

Found a video, recorded at some Microsoft press conference. It's Doom 3. Check it out, looks promising.

I've heard more people using this as confutation. Matter of taste I guess.

Personally I think it will be an awesome game. Playing it with the lights off will be quite hair-raising.

Almost being in some horror movie...

Plenty of them, a 2ghz with a radeon 9700 could run it, even a 9500 could run it but dont expect to be able to use fsaa and anisotropic filtering. Doom 3 uses like 80megs of texture memory so a 128mb video card is a must.

Naw i can;t see it, i have the alpha leak and its fucking amazing, its basically resident evil in first person in a lot of respects, its not run and gun everythings slowed down.

Hah, I can imagine playing with the lights off with surround sound. *growls in left rear channel* holy! Mine should run it, I don't see why not, 128 mb Ti4200 oc'ed at 4600 speeds, 1.7GHz, I don't even run my games in high settings, ansiotropic, and FSAA is off, and I usually run games in 8x6 or 10x76. The alpha runs fine, I get 20 fps on average, and it's an alpha.
