Yes the game was pirated. No, downloading it will not hurt EA. Yes, not buying the game, WILL hurt EA. Morale: If you're going to download the warez version, make sure you still go and buy the game.

MYTH: EA can spy on you!
FACT: Every piece of software you ever install _could_ do this. Many big corporations DO do this. Will the FBI be knocking on your door tomorrow? NOT LIKELY. If anyone says otherwise, ask them if they have even the tiniest notion of how much a SINGLE investigation costs.

MYTH: Piracy will destroy the game industry
FACT: People have said that for 20 years, and video games are selling better than they ever had, and online gaming is begining to be recognized as a fringe competitive sport.

MYTH: Piracy doesn't hurt anyone
FACT: If no one buys the games, the companies DO go out of business. Piracy killed the dreamcast. Support your game developers!

MYTH: Piracy causes high video game costs
FACT: Video games have ALWAYS cost >40 dollars. Piracy has nothing to do with it, supply and demand does.

MYTH: This is a pro-piracy post
FACT: This is an unbiased post, I'm trying to set some things straight since alot of people talk about these things without any actual knowledge to back it up.

MYTH: People who pirate won't buy the game
FACT: I buy all the software I use. So do all my friends. We strongly urge everyone to buy any software they use, regardless of whether they pirated it or not.

MYTH: Companies like EA Make so much money, why not pirate?
FACT: If everyone had that mentality, companies like EA would go out of business.

MYTH: EA Made Medal of Honor
FACT: EA PUBLISHED Medal of Honor. 2015 made it. They deserve 99% of the credit for this. EA put up some money, and in return, have most of the say in how things are done.

MYTH: "I'm a police officer, so I know the law"
FACT: A police officer once told me it was illegal to have a lineman's handset unless you worked for the phone company. That man was wrong, and caused me to waste several minutes of my life telling his commanding officer that they needed to return my handset to me immediately. Which they did, btw.

I hope everyone purchases the game when it is released. It looks to be an excellent game, and deserves the full cost (many games don't).
