Default review of geforce's $99.99 fx 5200 with 128mb ram - 05-17-2003, 11:58 PM

it's so cool. got direct x9.0 support along with open gl

and it comes free full versions of ghost recon and america's army and all that other tech demo stuff. reall cool, except i never got to try it. why? because the damn company who ever that packed the piece of crap box made a mistake and put in geforce 4mx 420 crap instead of this. i retured the junk and the product was all out so not i wasted about 1 hour doing all that rma and exchange stuff

and what makes me madder is the fact that the grpahix card was labeled as geforce4mx right on the damn front, but then soem genius posted another sticker that says agp, 128mb ram. wtf? the slot connector thing dosnt even look like an agp connector thing. freaking lousy companies.

Some 9500's can be mdded to 9700 spec though, 9600's cant. evil:

Soon as i get a new floppy drive this 9500 is a9700. biggrin:

It's amazing how picky people are for performance specs. Personally, I don't see how the human eye can actually see a frigging difference between the 9700, 9600, or 9500. I'm blown away as is with my GF4 Ti4200 64mb :\
