News on the Geforce FX 5900 -

I just wanted to start a thread where people can share news, opinions, and facts about NVIDIA's Geforce 5900 chipset that I hope will be released soon. This card is going to be very bulky because it will take up an AGP slot and a PCI slot on the motherboard. It will even have better performance than the ATI Radeon 9800! As you find out news on this card and if you would like to post opinions please post them. I'm really looking foward to the release of this chipset!
Lot of bollocks, nvidia have already been found out to cheating in 3d mark and claimed it was a "bug", how conveniant a bug that increases performance but just happens to be visually well hidden.
As for its "even better performance" its barely faster in any real area aside from doom 3 benchmarks, and even then the radeon drivers weren't optomised for it like the nvidia drivers.

Their new card will probaly be slightly faster than Radeon's 9800 Pro. Plus it will take up a PCI and AGP slot. Its super loud, you need to add extra fans, and it will need its own power supply. Then a month later ATI will release a new card that will much faster than Nvidia's. And it'll keep going that way forever.
Like i said before everyone made fun of the voodoo 5500 and 6000 because of their size but in retrspect they had a good reason for being large. The 5500 had 2 vsa 100 cores + an internal power atachment and the 6000 had 4 vsa 100 cores plus an external power attachment.
Whats nvidia's excuse? The core of the fx is a .13 micron process, the vsa 100 core was a .25 micron process. Meaning the chip on the fx is a lot smaller than the vsa 100 but nvidia somehow turns this into a graphics board which is retardedly large and for no good reason. oOo:
