Default dman ugly models - 05-25-2003, 09:03 PM

the first few screens of call of duty were great, blew me away. they consisted of german soldiers firing anti-aircraft cannon ( while sitting down)

now this screenshot appears and i just got disappointed real quick. look at how short the soldier models are. they better make em look like medal of honor's which was in proportion and looked realitic

here it is:

I'll just wait for DoD to be ported over to HL2 for my WW2 gaming needs. Word has it that the team are already working on Source. Call of Duty is probably gonna turn into another rocket whoring shotgun-fest like MOHAA.

Meh, I've finished with gaming. I think I'll just lurk around these parts for the rest of my days.

It would be even cooler if Infinite Ward was smart, and made different models with different height attributes.

Hmmm... something about that pic is strange, the others don't look quite so bad. Here's a few more:

They still look a little short, but IW is working on the running animation and the standing animations, so I think they are working on making them look normal. I think they were trying to go for that packed soldier look, where the soldiers are wearing tons of gear.
