Thats actually from the original halo, just got an mp3 of it and used it.

Looks good. Seems like theres more interaction with the marines and the environment. And one conculsion we can take is that this takes place on earth or a human colony, since there are roads, cars and signs in english. Seems like they changed the voice of the MC though, unless they are going to change it before it comes out, but I don't know why they would do the voices with another guy if hes not ging to be the voice for the entire game. Anyone know what happened with that?

Voice for master chief is same as it was in original halo for xbox, and yes its on earth.

It is the same voice? I could have sworn that it was someone different. The voice seems a little different to me, I don't know why. Maybe its because I ahevn't played halo in about a year.

Oh yeah, duh, you can tell its earth. At the beginning it says "East African Protectorate"

hl2 is obvously gonna own halo2. it's got the source engine. i have learned alot aout it from the past few days. ai are so advanced their actions seem scripted, but are not. eevry object has realisitc physics due to the havok engine and source working together. halo2. i dont know much about except it has soem ncie graphix maybe ai improvements, but overall half life2's gonna own it badly.

The ai in halo 1 was praised by virtually every review as being very intelligent. If anything halo 2 will improve on this, any of you thats watched the e3 footage will have seen a scene where a load of enemys with sheilds actually make a defensive formation with the sheilds.

And how is it "obviously" gonna own halo 2? U played it? nope so dont jump to conclusions.

i still think hl2's gonna be better. cause i just saw the 600mb movie for it. and these effects are just amazing, especially the water. the refraction is soo real

The sharper graphics of HL2 do not make it a better game then Halo2.
