Default the death of the internet - 06-21-2003, 12:05 AM

spam, you know it and hate it. im talkng about email spam like "enlarge your penis by 30 feet". yea we all get it. at first when i started to go on the internet 5 years ago spam was a little problem. i would recieve a few emails like "get the best car quotes" and that shit. all i did was delete them.

now today for the past month my mail box has been insanely spamed. only %1 of the mail in there is important. it took me 5 minutes today to delete all the spam (and i was hiting the delete button as fast as posible). i hear stories of other people that take hours of sifting through their email for impotant letters. other companies have started to sue spamers (they like to call themselves "commercial bulk emailer" i call them cum guzzling gutter sluts)

the internet is drowning in spam

i just cleaned out my AOL mailbox after 3 days of not checking it, and it had 683 emails in it. Only one was a real letter, the others were "Hot girl on horse action!" and "Sclass12, we wanna give you a vacation!" letters. Fucking spammers, i hate them.

But it would be funny to see a spam email in your inbox about spam (the food product)

ever thought that your problem lies in the fact that you use AO-fucking-L? That pile of shit acting like an ISP is an Extreme-Consumer's wet dream. Nothing but ad's.

I have an SBC DSL account and use Hotmail for anything I suspect will give me junk. I get maybe 20 a day. Some of those that I'd like to actually keep, I forward to my real account, but the crap still flows to my hotmail account. I sift through it once a week, and delete the shit.

OH someone please help me im drowning in spam... my goooood nooooo... Get rid of that AOL bullshit. If you must be forced with a gun to your head use AOL, Use an internet based account. AOL accounts are useless, why sift when you can have only important mail end up in your box?

Good luck you poor bastards.

I only get about 1-2 spam e-mails a day, and none of them are ever porn. The trick is all about conceiling your e-mail name.

Well, when you type in your e-mail to register something (Game account, porn etc)alot companys sell your e-mail address. So, Just get another "fake" account when you reigister everything too. And then theres the block sender option.

with all due respect, anyone who uses AOL as an ISP should not be allowed to exist.

i got rid of aol a few years ago, best decision of my life. I use yahoo mail, with its spam filter for "less" safe stuff, where i could potentially get spam, and i guard my real email address with my life. If i start getting spam on that one i dont know what ill do, probably kill someone.
