Default Making your own server - 07-28-2003, 12:17 AM

Hey everyone, I've been playing MOHAA for a year now, and I finally started up a clan, but the thing is i'm the cheapest bastard I know and don't want to spring for a server. So I was wondering, since I would only use the server for matches and practice, if anyone knew how to set one up. I have a dsl sympatico connection if that helps and a 1.8 gig IBM.
Thanx
Boomstick

Go to themulti-player room and click on the walllbvoard on the right. Do not check dedicated server or you won't be able to play.

I don't think so. A dedicated server is just that: a server only. You cannot play as a client from the same machine that's running as a dedicated server.

Oh, ok but whenever me and a friend of mine try to make a server and then go in it says server connection timed out, is there anything special that i have to do to fix that?
