Default FX or Radeon? - 08-09-2003, 02:31 PM

Im thinking about building a computer and i wanted to put in a really good graphics card. Which do u suggest, a Geforce FX, Geforce TI 4800 256mb, or Radeon 9600 256mb? Ive heard that the FX has its problems, i dont know if thats true or not.

Stay away from Nvidia. They've been going way down hill.

Get the Radeon 9600.

never buy top of the line. always buy whats reasonable. if you buy whats top of the line right now you just waste alot of money, wait for it to drop in price.

Just buy a Radeon 9500 PRO and flash the eeprom with the 9800 PRO bios
and you will get the same performance for half the price tag.
