No, infact I live in Kent, England, UK.

The record for the hottest day ever in Britain was broken on Sunday as temperatures soared to 38.1C (100.6F) in Gravesend, Kent.

It's as hot as the Caribbean!

And, dare I say it, too hot for a cup of tea oOo: oOo: oOo:

on teh other hand the midwest US is unusually cool this year, so maybe it's a shifting patternm and not global warming.

there were almost no 100 degree days in Dallas, Texas when last summer they had over 40 days!
It's relatively cool in Kansas as well

quite your bitching ppl, it can get up to 120F in the summer here, luckily it hasn't got that hot this summer, but its always over 100F here in the summer , i think today is like 105F or more cool:

but Air Conditioning is not as widespread in Europe as it is in the US, because it hardly ever gets hot, but when it does get hot, they are really screwed because they don't have AC

I don't think you all quite understand the gravity of this post.

We all know it can get extremely hot in parts of the US, Canada, Mainland Europe and places like that, but this is about ENGLAND, lol.

You know, the place where it rains all the time and we only have like 2 weeks of "hot" weather a year. I mean look at an atlas and see where the UK actually is. It's only a few hundred miles south of the Northern Sea.

This record is phenominal. It's much more so than the recent summer record broken here, when it rained for 29 days in June (2 years ago) in the middle of summer.

Americans and Canadians often get it wrong when they say it always rains here in the UK. That's not true. We just have the most unpredictable weather patterns you could imagine.

I mean, it snowed in May this year, for about 20 seconds, and was then sunny and warm for the rest of the day!
