Default Headphone brands? - 01-29-2004, 07:29 PM

I'm looking to buy a new headset/mic set. Has to be headset/mic set. Looking to spend under 30 but if they're good I'll go a little higher. Anyone know good brands ? I was thinking Altec set I saw at Best Buy. I have a Plantronic micset but it sucks hard.

I just got a pair of Sony MDR-NC5 Noise-cancelling headphones.

No mic on them, but these things are fucking sweet. They also run $50-60 though... but they still rock rock:

You guys do know that I'm talking about an active noise cancelling system, right? Not just having your ears covered?
