Default Flash - 02-04-2004, 11:53 PM

Hey guys ,

Everywhere I go on-line , I see alot of Flash.

I am really impressed with it.

I would like to learn how to use and create with it.

Does anyone know where to find a free program that creates Flash images?

Or if not , can a similar effect be created with PS?

Yes it is ,

But Swish has only a 15 day trial , so by the time I learn how to use the damn thing I will have to search elsewhere.

Macromedia Flash MX has a 30 days trial [url=http://www.macromedia.com/software/flash/?promoid=home_prod_flash_082403:a70ac]here[/url:a70ac]

Then you can either buy it for mucho dinero or try to download it on kazaa, but of course we don't support that sort of thing here.

I tried to learn it before but it seemed to complicated... and i was trying to learn it while learning photoshop, multivariable calc, data structures, so it was a bad idea.

good luck with that... if i ever become good at ps i may try some flash... but now this 3d stuff as caught my attention. good luck zen

Bwolf ,

I am in no way a master of PS , but I feel I know enough about it to create decent images and such.
So I wanted to look at other forms of images , I got a program called Gmax. ( a 3Dmax sortof program )
Dave helped me out with that , but I am just not ready for all that. It blew me away. lol.

So then I went to ProBoards and they taught me about html and Java scripting.

Now all I need do is learn about Flash and I will have at least some knowledge of most all of the basic languages of website construction.

I was surprized at how with a little guidance , how easy most of this stuff is.

Take for instance AMs Swish...

This free trial came with a help file and a tutorial in it.
I have had it for 1 day and I understand how to create a Flash " movie " with sound and interaction.

I am not overly intelligent or anything like that , I am just fasinated with how it works.

And at the root of all of it is MOHAA and the people of Allied Assalt.

Thank you all for all the advice that has been offered.
