This happened right down the street from my house. I knew all the kids involved. I wasn't friends but I didn't hate 'em either.

A kid died outside my house died last year. He drove into the back of a flatbead truck, I found a pic of what it kinda looked like. It got hit from behind by a bunch of drunk kids coming from a party, it took the guy in the passenger seat's head clear off. He had dropped out of our school about 2 years ago so not many knew him but the guy driving the truck was from our school. The truck had stalled right outside my house & had just kinda coasted to a stop down the road a bit & the car caming flying over the hill & they had no time to react.
pic of what the truck looked like, musta hurt eh?

do you honestly think that going a little over the speed limit should result in our own death?
This isn't like some drunk, stoned, dumbass kid driving in the wrong lane here, there were kids, my age, in the wrong place, at the wrong time.

At least one kid ever year in my school dies from a car accident. Maybe not that much but quite often in fact. I just hope that it doesnt happen this year, or ever again. Its one of the fucking saddest things in the world to go to a funeral of a kid in your school, or anyone you know for that matter. Its just completely terrible that a kid wont go home tonight because of a speeding mistake, and its also terrible that their parents will have to be confronted by a sheriff and hear the news that their son or daughter has just been killed.

In those conditions you should be going much lower than the spped limit, not a little above it.
Don't see how they got their licenses.
Yes it's tragic, but it's not like it was some rare occurance...they helped it happen.
