Way to take your top line card title and make a shitty varient of it to confuse the unknowing.

How exactly do you figure that? Se has always been known as a low end performer with pro and xt being the midrange and high end.

why cant they be like vodoo?

their was the voddo 1, 2, 3, then they had advancing numbers depending how good they were. no messed up numbers or letters.

Because back then there was only one variation of the card at the one price (for voodoo 1&2 at least), the way cards are made these days theyre made to suit price ranges hence 3 or more versions each with their own price and performance range. The voodoo 3 line had voodoo 3 1000 2000 3000 and 3500 so that basically was the start of the current trend you see today.

Anyone else read up on toms hardware review of the Nv40 (Nvidia 6800)? Kicks the hell out of my 5950U, and the 9800XT. Cant wait to see what ATI has ready for its competition.

Then it should have been title x300, or x200 like the lower end models are going to be this time round.
