you guys are decent digi artists ... but i see no real talent in taking someone elses work applying a couple of filters, sticking some text on, and calling it your work.

be original. i was really impressed with zen when he started using his own photographs in his work. ktog also uses original stuff...

i will admit i do the same thing with sigs ... if thats all youre doing then wtf ever.

food for thought.

1. "NO FILTERS"
2. -I asked permission from the photographer to use the photo, if i had a digi I would have my own photo's to use.
3. THe Brush strokes used were custom burshes of mine and some Insomniac's. It's not just slapping buirses on, its the opacity of the bursh, the layers designation, where the layer is place, the after effects done to that burshed layer, the color scheme All of it. Snapping the picture takes only a moment and a inspirational surrounding (which there is lots around me), The work done to the photo the final product is alot more then just the snap. Its a long process and your taking others to be more valueble then others. The truth is they are all important if there are "any" you should be more picky about as you are it should be the stock photo itself. That's the easy part. The art is the part that takes the elbow grease.

AGAIn I can't stress this enough, "NO FILTERS" I have no idea where you could have gotten that idea from. Im not retaliating back only trying to show that more work is put in on behalf of all the brush work etc then the photo being snapped. I took photgraphy in grade 11, 12, learned about ligthing and all, and in all honesty this phase is a lot harder. beer: cheers m8t. I have inspirational places around me I want to picture and all but, I can't alas no digi .
