I'm an avid civil war re-enactor... I went to Gettysburg last year for the 140th anniversary.. almost 15,000+ re-enactors were there rock:
After I get back from boot and get to my firsty duty station I'm going to try and find a World War Two unit and start re-encating the second world war. I'll post some pictures later of me.

(off topic)
heh, my one friend does civil war reinactments all the time.. ever see the movie Gods and Generals? He was an extra in there, he played the bugal (sp). He said this one kid picked up one of the cannons (they look really real, but they're styrofoam.) and put it over his shoulder like a rocket launcher, haha.

This corporal at my unit is really really really into reinnactments of WW2, hes on a german division. He says he has all the old original stuff, no replicas. The stories he tells about them are really cool, try looking them up.
