Naw, he came by and gave it to me, along with a stick of 512mb of new ram rock: I just finished playing the first level/training, and it brought back alot of memories from the original series. God I missed that blackjack smacking an unsuspecting guard in the face and then running down the hall giggling hysterically. There were a couple of disapointments in the game, though. They took away your sword, the eye orbs (never really used them though) and what sucks the most is that
they took away the rope arrow. I cant believe it, that was such a great aspect of the series, you could just suspend yourself in midair and look at everything. Also, the game doesnt feel like it normally did in the first series, I dont know if its because i havent played them recently, but it feels more console-catering than PC. I guess I will have to revisit Gold and Thief2. This game focuses on so much detail, i spent most of the time just looking at the scenery and listening in on conversations. Its really a nice game, Im seriously going to play the hell out of it when I become unemployed next week. cool:
