[quote:081b0]"But if Mr. Tenet thinks there should be a change of leadership at the Central Intelligence Agency -- for whatever reason, including taking one for the administration -- then so be it."[/quote:081b0]
Is the Democratic party full of 14-year olds? I've never seen so many pot shots in my life.
I thought George Tenet did an excellent job, which means a lot coming from me considering he was appointed by Bill Clinton. Clinton practically destroyed the CIA and was responsible for sapping the life from the military.
I think if Bush wanted to blame Tenet he would have asked Tenet to resign within a year after 9/11, seeing as Tenet wasn't even one of his appointees. I think it's fairly obvious that Tenet resigned because of all the flak he was taking, but who knows, maybe he really did resign for nothing other than his family. We can't automatically assume everything is a lie.

Thank you Noctis for clearing this up...
The democratic party and the public want someone to blame and have someone resign so they got their wish. Tenet just took one for the team and resigned, simple as that. Now people might shut up about who was to blame for 9/11 and a bunch of other crap. annoy:
