Well I don't think it was the pilot who said to do that, since this was written:

I don't see why?
When I was at Albuquerque I remember that Kirtland AFB SHARED a strip with the ABQ international. Also civilians could come on base practically whenever because there were a lot of museums and things on base.

Last I recall Ellsworth is not the one they keep B-2s at, so I don't see what the big hush-hush is oOo:
