Default GLW_error - 07-03-2004, 03:41 AM

I stopped playing mohaa over a month ago, then decided to start again after Riggsy (home boy) made the original halo mc model. however, now when I attempt to start the game, the console closes it, and a red highlighted mesage says GLW_StartOpenGL() - could not load OpenGL subsystem. what does this mean, what causes it, and how do I fix it?

I assume it has something to do with this OpenGL driver, so Ill post the entire console section about that:

Initializing OpenGL driver
...getting DC: succeeded
...GLW_ChoosePFD( 16, 16, 0 )
...35 PFDs found
...GLW_ChoosePFD failed
...GLW_ChoosePFD( 16, 16, 0 )
...35 PFDs found
...GLW_ChoosePFD failed
...failed to find an appropriate PIXELFORMAT
...restoring display settings
...WARNING: could not set the given mode (3)
...shutting down QGL
...unloading OpenGL DLL
...assuming '3dfxvgl' is a standalone driver
...initializing QGL
...WARNING: missing Glide installation, assuming no 3Dfx available
...shutting down QGL
GLW_StartOpenGL() - could not load OpenGL subsystem

It means you need to update your video drivers.
