[quote:a0466]What do we know about the weapons, vehicles and enemy units in this game? Not much, but let's gather the pieces and see what we could find.
According to Gamespot, there are going to be 19 variants on the standard Nazi Soldier, and you will possibly face non-human enemies like "Stuka dive bombers, Tiger tanks, and halftracks.." You will also "infiltrate a German staging area and sabotage a salvo of V2 rockets before they're fired over the English Channel onto London" in a mission and be able to "hitch a ride on most vehicles you come across, even if they're being driven by enemy soldiers, and they include halftracks, motorcycles with sidecars, tanks, jeeps, trucks, and even a Mercedes or two.."
As for weapons, you can expect over 24 authentic American and German weapons at your disposal, like the Mauser KAR 98K, Panzershreck, Thompson Submachine gun and the M1 carbine.
IGN on the other hand mentioned that "You'll get new historically accurate weapons this time around, such as a flamethrower and sticky bombs. As in the other iterations of the series, you'll be able to interact with vehicles - this time around being M4 Sherman tank and the M3 Half Track. Enemy weaponry includes the Tiger Mark I Heavy Tank, Stuka Dive Bombers, and V2 Rockets. There are some new tricks up your sleeve however, such as the ability to wear enemy clothes and sneak around in hostile territory.."
Also check out this post on VoodooExtreme by Vince Zampella of 2015 after someone pointed out that it's American guns that the German soldiers were holding in this shot:
"Good eye. The guns in the screenshot are indeed the American M1 Garand, the proper German weapon, the Mauser, wasn't actually finished when we did the shots. In the final game they will carry the proper weapon."
That's all for now, stay tuned for more.
