Default Converting AVI - 08-26-2004, 07:45 AM

ok, im kind of a n00b at these things. I have this movie, its an avi. its just shy of 16MB of fitting on a 700MB CD.. now I was wondering if there is anyway of making it smaller so it'll fit onto an 700MB CD.. or do i have to split it into 2 and burn it on 2 cd's?

are there converting programs out there that was make it smaller? (waits for flames) so it will fit on the CD?

ive tried opening it up in premier and even movie maker, but it doesnt want to open it.
