Default Technical question about CD burning - 09-28-2004, 08:16 AM

Ok, I don't know if anybody can help with this, but I'll ask anyway. I am wanting to burn a CD using the songs I bought off of Napster and other songs from my hard drive and CDs. But the songs off of Napster have protection and can only be used by the burning software included with Napster. And it closes out the disk so I can't use a different program (Nero).

I figured out that I can burn them to a CD and then copy them off of the disk and put it on a new one using Nero. But I think it's a waste to blow a whole disk for just a few songs. Anybody know of a way around this other than what I've done? I'm not asking for something illegal here, I'm using songs from CDs I've bought. Any help or hints would be cool. Thanks guys.

That way ^ would probably be the easiest/quickest way.

Yeah, from what I've read that seems to be the case. I suppose I can use a CD-RW so I don't have to toss out the original copy. Thanks for the tip though.
