Sorry to say this, but to those of you who said "i'll be long gone" are, in my opinion ignorant, and are exactly why we're in the position we are in. I lose a lot of respect for those who say things like that.
You do realize that this is our home, right? Humans live here. Should we not respect the place that has given us life? Should we leave something hopeful for those generations after us, instead of a piece of garbage that cannot be fixed?
