i only use it to put the music files i get off the internet like when someone posts a song they hosted etc.

i use it... all my downloads go into one folder then i transfer the good stuff to My Music, which i have set up on a seperate drive... it works ok, i use iTunes aswell...

i put my music on my partition that has the pron on. same as scorp says, when i rip a cd from itunes it goes to my music though so.

Ya. I have my "My Documents" folder(s) on a different partition so that all of my stuff doesn't get wiped when I re-install XP. I let iTunes organise my audio files and it whacks them all into My Music.
