I havent seen a flurry yet up here at northern vermont, yet they are already sending out warning about parking during snow, and how we are supposed ot be burried. Its the first I heard about this storm. I guess tonight were supposed to get 2-4 inches then tomorrow another 10 and its not going ot stop until thursday, yippie oOo:

School's cancelled and it hasn't even snowed yet? You guys don't know how lucky you are. In my 13 years of mandatory schooling, school was probably cancelled no more than 3 times due to snow. The last time I remember school being cancelled was probably about 6 years ago.
Statistic:
Calgary recieves on average 8 days per year with more than 23cm (9in) of snow.

On an off year, where i live we recieve a total of 3 feet between Jan 1 and feb 28/29. In a full winter we get about 4-5 feet. One year i remember getting hit with 4 ft in one storm, then come april another 22 inches, this also doesnt accout for the numerous other snow storms we got hit with that year

I remember those storms. I think I had somewheres around 8ish feet of snow by the end of winter. it was piled up so high on the side of roads you couldnt see around corners in a fucking semi. That was a good winter.
