20mph over posted speed limit = Wreckless in VA...dont know about your state, but if your underage and got a wreckless speeding ticket, goodbye license until your 21, and expect a huge fine and community service. God damn VA

You cant really fight a 20MPH over ticket. Even if you were on I-95 in the left lane, the judge isnt going to give a fuck, especially if hes under 19.

you could try hiring one of those lawyers, but I think it's cheaper in the short run. My friends dad hired one of those and got out of the ticket by scheduling, rescheduling the court date till eventually the cop didn't show. If the cop does show, they do this bs shit like 'when was the last time your radar gun was calibrated' etc...

some stupid cop pulled me over before for going through a yellow light. stupid: He told me it was red and I dangerously crossed into the intersection which was total BS. I tried to get in touch with the authorities to dispute it, but I just wound up paying the $108 ticket. Somehow the cop filed it as a non-moving violation...so no insurance points.

The officer's name is on the ticket, or should be. Call the station and ask to speak with the officer. They'll probably say that he is not available or something. Then ask someone there, what days he works or something like that. Then, try to schedule a court date for a day when he is off. You have to be creative when scheduling an excuse, because they don't just give you whatever day you want. Say something like I'm away at school and this is the one day that I'm available.

If you don't fight it, your insurance is guaranteed to skyrocket for like 3 to 5 years. More often than not, even if the cop shows, they'll reduce the speed and say you were doing 12 over or something to lower your fine. Anyway, good luck.

The last speeding ticket I got was for 64 in a 45. He claimed to have clocked me at 70, but wrote it for 64 because I had my seat belt on and I kept going to a safe place to pull over, instead of the entrance ramp/overpass we were on. I'd just got on the freeway and couldn't have been doing 70 that quick.

I did that once and the cop absolutely took my head off because I didn't stop immediately. He pulled behind me when there was no shoulder and I knew there was shoulder shortly up ahead, so I waited about 1/4 mile. When he got up to my window he laid into me and said if I had kept going it would've been resisting arrest. What a dick.

Thank god there are no speed pigs in Rochester. I've never been pulled over or even seen any guys with radars.

If you know anything about the majority of pennsylvania roads where there's amish buggies...or really most of them in general, they're shit.

So once I hit the interstates or another state I'm usually going 4235794835794837594835045794857934875948357987mph.

My worst and only third I was going 93mph or something on I-76 E towards Philly from Lancaster one night. I own a 1998 9000.
