I have heard a lot of talk about having medics in the mp version. I myself think this would be a great addition if done correctly. I would like to begin by saying I know jack about how to create mods so my idea may be impossible, but here it is:

Medics would have the sole job of saving lives. Therefore, medics would get credit for each life they saved.

The Geneva Convention protected anyone wearing the Red Cross whose purpose was saving lives. Therefore, if someone were to kill a medic they should be penalized one kill in their score. At the same time, the medic would not be able to carry any weapons as they are not supposed to pose a threat to the enemy. (fair trade-off)

To give the medic a purpose, you would have to get rid of the health packs rewarded for killing enemies. You could just get a canteen in return (that way there is some reward for killing someone.)

Ideally, it would be cool if we could add the phrase "medic" in the general statement menue. That way the medic could listen for the call and try to find those in need. It would also add to the realism of battle since the call for a medic was always heard among the sounds of battle.

Most people might think being a medic would be boring, but if there was scoring involved it may make it challenging.

What do you think?

Again, this is probably impossible, but I thought I'd suggest it anyway. Thanks!

PS if anyone could do this mod, I'd be forever thankful.
