It's a little better than a 9800XT... If you can find it for ~$150-175 it would definitely be worth it. If not, try looking for some deals on X800XLs or 6800GTs. There used to be a 6800GT for $230 not too long ago.

Yea I was on the edge on whether or not to sacrafice hardware for timing. See I wanted my computer earlier then later and would cause me to get lower priced hardware. I am going to be 100% honest with you, DONT. Just save up the tiny bit more and get the 6800GT or like Akuma said the X800xLs, but personally I would get the 6800GT. I have decided to stick with the 6800 Ultra and go with the 1066 FSB 3.73 GHz. I hope its well worth the wait and pricing

Good luck

For benchmarks go check out http://www.tomshardware.com do a quick search and u'll have em . They did a BIG video card comparison not too long ago.

LOL tomshardware = ok, but I would prefer to stick with Kyle & anandtech.

hardocp.com + anandtech.com.

-coma, keep your eye here for good deals.

Can't tell since 'other 1337 stuff' doesn't tell me much.

What processor?

I'm not exactly up to date on my european hardware prices, I know they are higher than US/Canada. But 1000€ is approx $1300, which seems way to high.

Just got one from Newegg, and it does the trick for me. They have a ton of reviews there as well.

They are having a special this month on the XFX model. $30 mail in rebate, so I payed around $157 or so.
