I know it's a change for you guys. This is pretty much a visual art section, but I didn't feel like posting this with the oOo: of the offtopic section.
A few of my friends (17 years old at the time) wrote some compositions for class in the mozart form. What do you guys think of em? Which is your favorite?

Robert Olieman is going to West Chester University for music composition--hopes to do stuff like John Williams and Danny Elfman with film scores. He's amazing at composition...really talented guy. He wrote a song for the orchestra to play at our highschool graduation.
Grace is going to a PennState University--Bucks campus. I'm not sure what she plans on doing later on.
Amber Gellock is going to Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) as an undecided major. She wants to get into composition last I heard.
Mike Penna is going to IUP also. I believe he wants to go to be a general teacher. No music invovled.
Caitlyn Biggs is going to Lebannon Valley College (really small school in PA) for Music Education.

I asked them later on how they felt about their compositions and they all generally agreed that they didn't think it was the best thing they wrote because of all of the restrictions with form and such (mozart form). Olieman does awesome stuff for film...very different from Mozart stuff.
There is a pretty big composer out there now that attended my High School. My music theory teacher told us that he had to do some porno movies at first to get his footing stable. But now he seems to be really accelerating and going places. His website is

my vote goes for Robert Olieman's piece, but I really enjoyed Mike Penna's as well.
