What I want to know is if there hasn't been an execution since 1963, why do they need a task force to study the fairness and costs of imposing the death penalty? How much of the taxpayers money will this study take? I mean just abolish the death penalty, it's not like they use it (in New Jersey). After all there are only 10 cases that have been heinous enough to warrant imposing the death penalty. Change those sentences to life and be done with it.
