Ok, time to laugh at Arkan but he finally purchased a game since HL2.

Installed BF2 and configured. Wanted to play "single player" but why do i have to set up a server? Isn't there single player just so i can get used to the game as a whole? When i 1st got MOH and COD, i played the game through before i played online so i was used to the game and weapons. Whats the deal with BF2?

single player in BF2 is basically MP against bots. There is no story line or campaign mode, MP and SP are the same except the opponents.
