review from my teams site
"Compared to previous installments, like Raven Shield, this one sucks big elephant dong. With my new card, I was able to max out everything, and still the graphics could have been better. In RS6:RS, you were given the option to plan out your missions completely and attack in 2 squads of 5 (or was it 4?). In this one, you have a predefined squad of 4 and only have control over their loadout. The AI for your squad is incredibly lacking as well. The squad commands did nothing for me but remind me of BiA, and that doesn't say much. Then there's the OpFor AI (that's what they're calling it on the RS6 forums, so I'm not an entirely AA fanatic): it'd be harder for me to hit a rock with a shotgun from 5' away. These guys will run right into the open even under heavy fire (which mostly comes from you since your guys are too busy running into the open or charging the enemy with the occasional bullet leaving the chamber). And when they're not in the open, you can kill every last one of them with a few bullets to the calf that will show under the car they're probably behind. Oh, and God forbid you run out of ammo, you can't pick up any weapons lying on the ground and are left to a pistol with miraculously unlimited ammo.
Did I find anything good about this game? A distraction from my home theater perhaps (which is still giving me crap). Other than that, it's coming off as a waste of drive space to me and makes me glad to have access to "extended trial version" games.
If you're a fan of RS6 games, stay away from this one. It'll really disappoint."
