40 years ago, the only way to get behind the wheel of a 1966 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350H special edition was to visit your local Hertz car rental, sign on the dotted line and drive away to the nearest racetrack. Though there's little evidence any of the cars actually made it to the track, that's not stopping Ford, Shelby and Hertz from reigniting the urban myth with 500 black and gold 2006 Shelby GT-H models-available this later this year as Hertz rental cars only. The special model gets a boost from Ford Racing Performance Parts bin, resulting in a 20-hp, 10-lb-ft increase in power from the 4.6-liter V8 (up to 325 hp and 330 lb-ft).[/quote:15534]
That's a sweet looking ride. I'm in their #1 Club Gold program and will definitely try to get my hands on one even if it means paying a little out of my own pocket.
Hood pins serve a purpose if they are used appropriatly. I hate seeing hood pins on a stock hood....wtf pointless. The reason for hoodpins is for Carbon fiber hoods, since they are a lot lighter than the regular hood they keep it latched down better.
The only thing I dont like about that mustang other than the price which will probably be insanely high is the gold stripe. I hate gold/champagne/bronze on cars. It makes me physically sick and Ive thrown up from riding in a car that color before. I cannot stand it at all.

For a ricer yes. But not for a muscle car i don't think I have ever seen a muscle car with hood pins and a carbon fibre hood. or in that case any muscle car with a carbon fibre hood........ wallbash:
