Songs to play live -
08-21-2006, 09:04 AM
Ok, here's a question to ponder. If you had to pick two classic rock-ish songs to play live with a band, one being a more mainstream tune and one being relatively obscure, what would they be?
I'm going to be jamming with some guys early next month and we're all suggesting two songs to play so we don't end up going to the jam and wondering what to play.
They can be older tunes or newer ones; just rock type stuff that would be good to play in a club. Think Thin Lizzy, Ted Nugent, 70's classic/arena rock.
Fire away!

Just about anything with the Red Hot Chili Peppers. They're my favorite band.

^ That could actually be pretty cool if you covered it with heavier guitars.
