Default Mouse crapped out on me - 03-11-2007, 07:04 PM

I had a strange problem happen earlier today. My mouse went out on me, but not completely. Only the left mouse button stopped working. I could right-click, middle-click, and use the scroll wheel. Has anybody ever heard of just one button going out on a mouse? Seems like the entire thing would crap out instead of just one button.

Luckily I still had my factory mouse that came with my computer.

id assume it has something to do with the button itself, something wrong with that particular sensor.

My MX510 has performed flawlessly.

As for your mouse problem, any button can stop working. Sounds like your left button just did.
