We just received word from Activision regarding information on pre orders for ET:QW

Quake games have always been system friendly for most I think, hopefully it'll run alright on my rig
If it does then I'll be buying this mos def, been waiting a long time for this. Should be getting reviewed soon too I hope... rock:

It would be reviewed by me next week if I did not have to travel to Vegas on business. I was invited out to ID/Activision on Tuesday for a preview/media event for ETQW.

Damn work..... Always getting in the way.


I won't even mention the part about Crysis + Germany the same week as this damn business trip.

Rude, its come to my attention that perhaps you need an assistant. I mean its a disservice to this fine gaming community you've built that work prevents you from getting the cutting edge scoups. I volenteer my services for all the super bad ass trips your incapible of attending. Of course this is only for the benefit of the comminity...

btw no official sys reqs yet but Paul Wedgewood of Splash Damage says they are aiming for the requirements to be the same as those for Quake IV. The Quake IV system requirements are as followed:

Minimum System Requirements:

* Intel®Pentium® 4 2 Ghz or AMD® XP 2000+ processor or higher
* 512 MB RAM
* English Version of Microsoft®Windows® 2000/XP
* 100% DirectX® 9.0c compatable 64MB 3D Hardware Accelerator video card required
* 8X Speed CD-ROM Drive and latest drivers
* 2.8GB of uncompressed free hard disk space (plus 400MB for for Windows® swap file)
* 100% DirectX® 9.0c compatable 16-bit sound card and latest drivers

* compatible mouse, keyboard, and latest drivers. 100% DirectX® 9.0c inlcuded
