Default Packages, the best way to enjoy Kerala! - 10-14-2007, 10:03 PM

The National Geographic has suggested KERALA as one of the must see destinations in the world. And the Kerala Government in order to promote Kerala Tourism has approved private tours agents for promoting Kerala package tours throughout Kerala. The Kerala Government has been appreciated and has received many awards nationally for creating and promoting Kerala tour packages to meet the standards of an international traveler visiting Kerala. The government is leading the way in setting new standards in the Kerala Tourism Industry and is always looking forward to welcoming a tourist to Gods Own country the vibrant and enchanting land, with open hearted people and a myriad of sights and sounds.

The world heritage site of Kerala has several places to see around. One can plan a holiday vacation at the geographically rich state of Kerala, which has two exotic hill stations namely, Thekkedy and Munnar. The former is well known for the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary and the later for being the summer resort of the erstwhile British Government in South India. The trip to any of the hill stations is for sure to act as a balm to the exhausted souls of the tourists. A Holiday package in Kerala offers one an opportunity to get close to nature.

Kerala is rich both in terms of the cultural and ethnic diversity. The variety may be viewed by the architecture of the religious places. Holiday packages offered to you on your Kerala Tourism would take you to the ancient temples of Kerala which have roofs constructed in copper. The mosques are built with Malabar gables and the churches are made on the lines of the colonial Portuguese Baroque.

The cardamom, cashew nut, coconuts, coffee, ginger, pepper, rubber, and tea plantations happen to be other highlights of Kerala Tourism. The holiday packages in Kerala would let one take an insight into the popular arts and artists of Kerala. The old dance forms of Kathkali and Koottiyattam are till date performed in Kerala. The former dance form concentrates on the gestures of the hands and the expressions on the face of the performer. The later happens to be the earliest classical dramatic art form of Kerala.

Kerala is rightly referred to as the land of coconut. Coconut happens to be an integral part of the cuisine of the people of Kerala. Chilies, curry leaves, mustard seeds, tamarind and asafetida happen to be other vital ingredients in the hot and spicy dishes from Kerala. At the same time fish and rice seem to be the food for the daily meals. Your meal is incomplete without the appam, rasam, fish curry and the delectable payasam.

An essay on Kerala
In this essay I will consider the social, economic and political factors of Kerala. I find my self constantly drawn back to the subject of Kerala. Remarkably Kerala is heralded by shopkeepers and investment bankers alike, leading many to state that spasmodically it returns to create a new passion amongst those who study its history. Inevitably Kerala is often misunderstood by those most reliant on technology, who are yet to grow accustomed to its disombobulating nature. Though I would rather be in bed I will now examine the primary causes of Kerala.

Social Factors
Society is our own everyday reality. The immortal and indispensable phrase honesty is the best policy [1] globalised an issue which had remained buried in the hearts of our ancestors for centuries. Both tyranny and democracy are tried and questioned. Yet Kerala demonstrates a coherent approach, something so lacking in our culture, that it is not recognised by all.
Our post-literate society, more than ever before, relies upon Kerala. It has been said that the one thing in society which could survive a nuclear attack is Kerala. This is incorrect, actually cockroaches are the only thing which can survive a nuclear attack.

Economic Factors
There has been a great deal of discussion in the world of economics, centred on the value of Kerala. Of course, Kerala fits perfectly into the Inter-Spam model, as is standard in this case.

Kerala
How do we explain these clear trends? Recent studies indicate that the annual military budget will continue to follow Kerala for the foreseeable future. What it all comes down to is money. Capitalists love Kerala.

Political Factors
Machiavellian politics is rife. Are our leaders justified in pursuing and maintaining political power? Looking at the spectrum represented by a single political party can be reminiscent of comparing pre and post war views of Kerala.
One quote comes instantly to mind when examining this topic. I mean of course the words of jazz singer Elijah Tuigamala 'The success of any political system can only truly be assessed once the fat lady has sung.' [2] He was first introduced to Kerala by his mother. It is a well known 'secret' that what prompted many politicians to first strive for power was Kerala.
While Kerala may be a giant amongst men, is it a dwarf amongst policy? I hope not.

Conclusion

We can conclude that the Kerala is both a need and a want. It establishes order, it stimulates and it is human.
What a great essay. Finally a word from super-star Miles Morissette: 'I demand Kerala, nothing more nothing less.' [3]
