I have a firewall so I can't host games but I heard that gamespy has something to get around it so you can host games and I have looked for it but I can't find it. Can anyone help me out or anything?

If any "real" hacker wants in your computer, no lowsy freeware firewall is going to keep him from doing it! But I understand if you do not want to share your kiddie porn.

If you use windows on your firewall machine that maybe so.
While linux isn't bulletproof, i'd take it over windows any day.
There are only a few reasons I even have windows on any of my machines:
1) MOH-AA
2) Lightwave
3) DVDs
If there were ports of MOH-AA and Lightwave for Linux, along with a good DVD player (haven't tried ogle yet but will soon) I will be rid of windows forever.

No kiddie porn on any of my machines mister!
Besides, it doesn't matter if your machine runs one of the most popular web sites on the net or you just use it for MP games, people will try to hack into it for no other reason that it is there.

That may be true, but they could still use your system to then hack into other systems, therefore if they are detected *YOUR* IP etc is what will most likely be seen as the source of the hacking.
