(welcome to part 2 of my post)

The Special Effects:

Let me first say the explosions during the Omaha Beach level look great. It's a bit sad that later in the in-game demo movie when the player is shooting at a couple of barrels and they explode, it just isn't as strong and convincing as the Omaha Beach explosions.

Tracer fire during the Omaha Beach level looks good, but i noticed one thing. If you look at the two German bunkers on the bluff, you can clearly see the bullets coming from them, yet there's no Machine Gun muzzle flash visible at all.
In 'Saving Private Ryan', there are a couple long shots where you can see the bunkers from a distance and you can clearly see muzzle flash from the German Machine Guns. I think it will add greatly to the immersion factor if you would show muzzle flash coming from the bunkers.

About bullet impacts.
I've tried to look closely at the in-game demo movie to spot bullets hitting the sand, but i couldn't find any. If you would add bullet impacts like the ones in 'Saving Private Ryan' you would make me a very happy Super Detail Maniac
I've seen allot of movies and 'Saving Private Ryan' is the only one that has the most terrifying bullet impacts that i've ever seen! Those aren't just puffs of sand shooting up in the air, no, the sand explodes almost a meter up in the air!!!
For a good demostration what i'm talking about, look at the scene in 'Saving Private Ryan' where Tom Hanks and his squad are going to take out a German bunker near a Radar site. When Corporal Upham hides behind a dead cow and looks through that scope with fear in his eyes, you can see bullets hitting the ground around Hanks and his men! Now that's what i really hope to see in the final version of 'Allied Assault'!

Finally i want to say something about this blood issue.
I know that this isn't in your hands 2015, but i really think EA is making a mistake by not letting you guys add at least indication of blood.
I know one of you at 2015 said something about that blood would become trapped underneath the soldiers clothing and you wouldn't see it, just a puff of smoke/dust from the bullet impact. This sounds true to me. For a demostration, look again at 'Saving Private Ryan', when Tom hanks drags one of the soldiers out of the water and the hapless guy thanks him, he's suddenly hit by a bullet right through the hart and there's no blood visible.
But this only works when a soldier is hit in the upper part of the body...what about his legs, arms, Face?!?! I know that you can snipe in 'Allied Assault', what are you guys going to show us when we snipe a German right in his face...no blood??? Sounds silly to me if you wouldn't.
And also, when a dead body lies on the ground, especially during the Omaha Beach level, wouldn't it be better if you could see blood soaking through the sand from beneath their bodies??? I myself would say, YES!
But it all sadly depends on EA i guess

Well, i think it's best that i make an end to this biiiiiig post, before you all fall asleep.
Again sorry for the size, but i don't post allot on this board, this is only my second one...so don't worry about it in the future

Please everyone and 2015, post some replies.
I really don't want to find out that i typed this boring post for nothin'.

Good luck with 'Allied Assault',2015...Can't wait for the final release!!!

Salutations and signing off.

p.s. I knew that i forgot something Anyone from 2015, please read the message posted by Motto, about the death animations in 'Allied Assault'. He orginally posted it in the general section of this board. But he has now also posted it in the 'Board of Developers' section. Please read it and reply whenever you can. Because Motto made a really good point and i agree with him.
