Just some constructive input here... Those of you who have been in the ocean can attest to this: On a cloudy/rainy day, you typically cannot see your feet under water.
In the case of Normandy, it was a stormy, choppy, windy, rainy morning with lower light than normal and the water was churned up for more reasons than just the bad weather... Landing craft, bodies, explosions, blood and general debris obscured the salt water.
What I have noticed in the water screen shots from MOH:AA is that the halves of the soldiers below the water are easily seen - as if they were wading in tropical Bahamian waters. This was just not the case at 6:30 or 7:00am on the five Normandy beaches.
My suggestion would be to darken or dim the clarity of the water and, if possible, add the debris and general filth to the water.
